1/2 lb (225g) shrimp, peeled and deveined

8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Optional: Red pepper flakes for a spicy kick

Instructions:
Cook the pasta: Boil a pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain the pasta and set aside.

Cook the steak: Season the steaks with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, depending on your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes. Slice the steak into strips.

Cook the shrimp: In the same skillet, add a bit more oil or butter and cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp and set aside.

Make the creamy sauce: Add butter to the skillet and melt over medium heat. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes to thicken.

Combine the pasta: Stir in the Parmesan cheese and lemon juice into the sauce. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta in the creamy sauce.

Serve: Plate the pasta and top with the sliced steak and shrimp. Garnish with fresh parsley and optional red pepper flakes for a little heat.
