Description
For the Seafood Bread:
1 large French baguette or Italian bread, halved lengthwise
1/2 lb lump crab meat
1/2 cup shrimp, cooked and chopped
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp butter, melted
1/2 tsp paprika (for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix together crab meat, shrimp, mayonnaise, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic, Old Bay seasoning, parsley, and lemon
juice. Stir until well combined.
Place the halved baguette on the baking sheet and brush with melted butter. Spread the seafood mixture evenly over the bread.
Sprinkle paprika on top and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.
