Homemade Raspberry Ice Cream
Ingredients:
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar dissolves completely.
2. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
3. While the ice cream is churning, mash the raspberries slightly with a fork to release their juices.
4. In the last 5 minutes of churning, gently fold the raspberries into the ice cream mixture to create swirls of fruit.
5. Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
6. Scoop into cones or bowls and enjoy your refreshing treat!
