Garlic Butter Shrimp

Garlic Butter Shrimp

Ingredients:

500g large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Toasted bread for serving

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Shrimp:

Season shrimp with salt and pepper
.

2. Cook the Shrimp:

Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat
.

Add shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside
.

3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

Add the remaining butter to the skillet. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute
.

Pour in white wine or chicken broth and bring to a simmer
.

Stir in lemon juice and simmer for another minute
.

4. Combine:

Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce
.

5. Serve:

Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm with toasted bread
.
