Garlic Butter Broccoli and Mushrooms

Garlic Butter Broccoli and Mushrooms

Ingredients:

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

1 ½ cups sliced mushrooms (button or cremini)

3 tbsp unsalted butter

2 garlic cloves, minced

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Ingredients:

Wash and drain the broccoli florets and mushrooms.

2. Cook the Mushrooms:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and sauté for 5-7 minutes until browned and tender. Remove and set aside.

3. Sauté the Broccoli:

In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Add broccoli and cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4. Combine:

Return the mushrooms to the skillet. Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring well to coat the vegetables in the sauce.

5. Serve:

Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy as a side or light main dish!
