Recipes:

French Onion Beef Stew
A comforting, rich beef stew served with cheesy toasted bread for the perfect indulgence!

Ingredients:
500g beef chuck roast, cut into cubes
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 carrots, sliced
2 potatoes, diced
4 cups beef broth
Salt and pepper (to taste)
2 tbsp butter
4 slices of bread (for toasting)
1 cup shredded Gruyère or mozzarella cheese
Fresh thyme for garnish
Instructions:
Sear the beef: In a large pot, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add the beef cubes and brown them on all sides. Remove and set aside.

Sauté the vegetables: In the same pot, add onions and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes until softened. Add carrots, potatoes, and beef broth.

Simmer: Add the beef back to the pot, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours until the beef is tender and the flavors meld.

Prepare the toast: While the stew simmers, toast the bread slices and top each slice with shredded cheese. Place them under a broiler for 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts and bubbles.

Serve: Ladle the stew into bowls, top with a cheesy toast slice, and garnish with fresh thyme.

Enjoy this hearty, flavorful dish on a cozy evening!
