Crispy Chicken Mac & Cheese Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups elbow macaroni
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup whole milk
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup cooked and breaded chicken bites
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour to make a roux.
3. Gradually add milk while whisking until the sauce thickens.
4. Stir in cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper until the cheese melts.
5. Combine the macaroni with the cheese sauce. Transfer to a serving bowl.
6. Top with crispy chicken bites and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
