Creamy Steak and Shrimp Penne Pasta

Ingredients:
For the Steak and Shrimp:

2 ribeye steaks

8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tbsp olive oil

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dried thyme

For the Pasta and Sauce:

8 oz penne pasta

1 cup heavy cream

2 tbsp butter

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Steak and Shrimp:

Season the steaks with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried thyme.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side (or more, depending on your desired doneness). Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing them into thin strips.
In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Creamy Sauce:

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Stir in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Add the grated Parmesan cheese and continue to cook until the sauce becomes smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine the Pasta, Steak, and Shrimp:

Add the cooked penne to the skillet with the creamy sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly in the sauce.
Add the sliced steak and shrimp, and toss everything together gently.
Serve:

Plate the creamy steak and shrimp penne, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve immediately!
