Creamy Chicken Noodle Skillet

Ingredients:

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

2 cups egg noodles

1 cup carrots, diced

1 cup peas (fresh or frozen)

2 cups chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

2 tbsp unsalted butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp dried thyme

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

1. Cook the Noodles:
In a large pot, cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2. Sauté Vegetables:
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Add carrots and sauté for 3-4 minutes, until slightly softened.

3. Prepare the Sauce:
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Add thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir well and let simmer for 5 minutes.

4. Combine Ingredients:
Add cooked chicken, peas, and Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir until combined.

5. Add the Noodles:
Gently fold in the cooked noodles and mix until everything is coated in the creamy sauce. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to heat through.

6. Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Tips:

Use rotisserie chicken for a quicker preparation.

Add mushrooms or corn for extra texture.

Replace heavy cream with milk for a lighter version.
