Cheesy Garlic Butter Rolls
Ingredients:
For the Dough:
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 packet (7g) instant yeast
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup warm milk
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 egg
For the Filling:
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
For the Garlic Butter Topping:
3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Add flour, salt, melted butter, and egg. Knead into a soft dough, cover, and let rise for 1 hour. Divide the dough into 10-12 pieces, flatten each piece, add shredded mozzarella, then seal into a ball. Place rolls on a baking tray, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden. Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, and salt, then brush over warm rolls. Serve and enjoy!
