Cheesy Bacon Bread Rolls

Ingredients:

500g all-purpose flour

1 tbsp sugar

1 tsp salt

2 tsp instant yeast

1 cup (250ml) warm milk

1/4 cup (60ml) melted butter

1 egg

Filling:

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup cooked crispy bacon bits

Topping:

Extra mozzarella cheese

Bacon bits

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Dough:

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.

Gradually add warm milk, melted butter, and the egg. Mix until a soft dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

2. Fill the Rolls:

Punch down the dough and divide it into equal portions. Flatten each portion into a small disc.

Place a spoonful of mozzarella cheese and bacon bits in the center. Seal the dough around the filling and shape into a ball.

3. Add Toppings:

Place the rolls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle extra cheese and bacon bits on top of each roll.

4. Bake:

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

5. Serve Warm:

Ready to enjoy immediately!
