Bacon & Egg Stuffed Croissant
Ingredients:
2 large croissants
4 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 slices crispy bacon, chopped
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice croissants in half, leaving one side attached. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat, pour in egg mixture, and cook while stirring until soft and fluffy. Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheddar. Stuff croissants with scrambled eggs, place on a baking sheet, and sprinkle with chopped bacon. Bake for 5 minutes until cheese melts. Garnish with fresh chives and serve warm.
