Loaded Steak Fries with Cheese
Ingredients:
500 g steak (sirloin or ribeye)
400 g frozen or fresh French fries
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp black pepper (freshly cracked)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp paprika (optional)
1 tbsp parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Fries:
Bake or fry the French fries as per package instructions or until golden and crispy. Set aside on a baking sheet.
2. Cook the Steak:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Sear the steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time to your preferred doneness.
Remove from heat and let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
3. Assemble the Dish:
Spread the French fries on an oven-safe dish or skillet. Add the minced garlic evenly over the fries.
Place the steak strips on top of the fries.
4. Add the Cheese:
Sprinkle the mozzarella and cheddar cheese generously over the steak and fries.
5. Melt the Cheese:
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) or use a broiler. Place the dish in the oven and bake or broil for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
6. Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately. Enjoy the cheesy, savory goodness!
