Recipes:

Cheesy Meatballs on Toast

Ingredients:

For the Meatballs:

1 lb ground beef

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 egg

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp olive oil

For the Toast:

4 slices of thick bread (preferably French or sourdough)

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Fresh thyme leaves for garnish

Instructions:

Make the Meatballs:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well, then roll into 6-8 small meatballs.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides for 5-7 minutes, then transfer them to a baking dish.
Prepare the Toast:

In a separate skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat. Toast the bread slices for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy. Remove from heat.
Assemble the Dish:

Place the toasted bread slices in a baking dish. Place a meatball on each slice of bread. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve:

Garnish with fresh thyme leaves and serve hot! You can drizzle with a bit of olive oil or marinara sauce for extra flavor.
This dish is perfect for a cheesy, comforting meal! Each bite is full of savory meatballs, melted cheese, and crunchy toast.
