Surf & Turf Spaghetti with Creamy Garlic Sauce
A luxurious combination of shrimp, tender beef, and creamy spaghetti!
Perfect for a special dinner or a comforting treat.
Ingredients:
For the spaghetti:
300g spaghetti
Salt for boiling water
For the surf & turf:
200g shrimp, peeled and deveined
200g beef, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
For the creamy garlic sauce:
2 tbsp unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish:
Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
Cook the spaghetti:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the surf & turf:
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Season the beef with salt and pepper, then sear until golden brown and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, heat the remaining olive oil and cook the shrimp until pink and tender. Remove and set aside.
Make the creamy garlic sauce:
Melt butter in the same pan. Sauté garlic until fragrant.
Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
Combine and serve:
Toss the spaghetti in the creamy sauce until well coated.
Top with the cooked shrimp and beef. Garnish with fresh parsley.
