Cajun Shrimp Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients:

For the shrimp:

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste

For the pasta:

12 oz fettuccine or linguine

2 tbsp butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
1 tsp Cajun seasoning (optional for extra spice)

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions:

Cook the Pasta:

Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Shrimp:

Toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until cooked through and golden. Remove and set aside.
Make the Alfredo Sauce:

In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and broth, letting it simmer.
Gradually mix in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Add Cajun seasoning for extra heat if desired.
Combine:

Toss the cooked pasta in the Alfredo sauce until well coated. Add the shrimp on top.
Serve:

Garnish with fresh parsley and an extra sprinkle of Parmesan. Serve hot!
